Nascom System 80 - Floppy Disk Controller
Before Nascom's financial problems, they where designing a new system referred to as System 80. This got as far as the design stage and adverts where placed with magazines but production never took place.
System 80 Floppy Disk Controller based around the 1791 Western Digital controller. A version of CP/M was to be released giving about 280K per drive. The announced drives where Siemens double-density double sided drives 5.25 inch units. Never reached production.
