IO828 - PLUTO Video Card
Technical Details
The PLUTO graphics card was developed by I/O Systems and sold by Gemini. At the time it was a hugely capable system giving 768 x 576 bit mapped display. The price tag reflected this. Contains 192K video RAM controller by an on board 8088 processor. A common modification was to replace the 8088 with a V20 processor which gave up to 30% performance increase.
Later versions where available, including cards designed for early PC systems.
